The Junior League of Monmouth County was founded in 1939 by a group of 13 women with a passion for serving the Monmouth County community. Today, we are a vibrant group of over 200 women who are still passionate about volunteering and helping to make our community an even better place.

Period Project
Since March 2021, the Junior League of Monmouth County has been working to raise awareness of period poverty and supports the development and expansion of period supply programs throughout our community. Since officially beginning this initiative, JLMC has collected over 14,000 products which have been distributed through a partnership with Trinity Church in Asbury Park.
SUPPORTING COLLABORATION
Our community has thousands of nonprofits working to make our community a better place. As a collaboration leader, the Junior League of Monmouth County is facilitating networking and partnerships among the communities’ nonprofit organizations.
COLAB
CoLAB is the JLMC annual nonprofit collaboration summit. With keynote presentations and interactive networking opportunities, CoLAB is intended to inspire and facilitate collaboration in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Volunteer Award
The Community Volunteer Award is designed to recognize the many valuable contributions being made by women volunteers in our local community.
The award is intended to increase awareness of the importance of volunteering. The award recognizes volunteers who give assistance to the community and receive no remuneration for their efforts.
CoLAB Day Of Service
The JLMC members are devoted to developing partnerships with organizations that impact and improve our community.
The JLMC hosts the CoLAB Day of Service, a multi-organization day of volunteering in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Organized by JLMC members, the CoLAB Day of Service is open to anyone in our area interested in participating in a service-learning experience.
