JLMC Community Focus - Life Skills Training Program

The Junior League of Monmouth County (JLMC) is committed to empowering women in our county to gain proficiency in the basic life skills critical to achieving independence. While many community organizations attempt to offer their clients basic life skills training to achieve these goals, constraints in funding, internal capacity and available effective programs often stand in the way. Parenting skills training, in particular, has been identified as a challenge for agencies, both due to the severity of the consequences of a deficiency in parenting skills as well as the shortage of effective parenting programs in Monmouth County. In response to this need, the JLMC is launching a new Life Skills Training Program to serve Monmouth County agencies.
