It was a beautiful star-studded evening both outside and inside the Two River Theater in Red

Bank on Saturday, November 21! In the midst of a wonderful weekend of activity for the JLMC,

An Evening with Alec Baldwin, brought the very talented artist to our neck of the woods for a

rare, informal evening discussing his career in television, film and on the stage. Alec was

interviewed by his long time friend, and Linda Bricker’s older brother, A.C. Weary, and also

took questions from the audience. A.C. and his wife, Kim Zimmer, became friends with Alec

when they were all cast on the soap opera “The Doctors” some 30 years ago.

As with most JLMC activities, the event offered lots of experiential training to say the least! In

addition to more traditional channels, to publicize this event we “e-blasted” and “tweeted” and

“facebooked” and “forwarded” the news any which way we could! We produced radio PSAs,

promoted through ticket giveaways, auctioned off tickets at local charity events and handed out

promotional cards all over the Two River area. The result was a house packed with the public,

the press, and the amateur paparazzi--all huge fans of our guest of honor! Those JLMC members

who did attend, many through the combo ticket offer, did a fantastic job of putting the face of the

JLMC on the event. And a great time was had by all!
