Begin the day at The Metropolitan Museum of Art (Fifth Avenue) for a 10:30 a.m. private tour, "Fashion in Art."
The Met's tour description: "Consider fashion throughout the ages and learn what clothes reveal to us about their wearers. Highlighting clothing represented in stone, wood, paint, and other media found throughout the Museum’s collections, this tour examines developments in fashion from all over the world." Approximately one hour. We will walk from here to our second stop or you may choose to take a taxi. Sorry, per the museum, there are no museum member discounts for private tours. Closes at 5:30 p.m.

Our second stop will be at the New York Junior League for a luncheon in the Roosevelt Dining Room at 1:00 p.m.
The menu is attached at the bottom of this email. Since the dining room closes at 2:00 p.m., we will need to be seated no later than 1:00. We will walk from here to our third stop or you may choose to take a taxi.

Our third stop will be at The Met Breuer by 3:00 p.m.
This will be a self-guided visit to The Met's latest addition and home to their modern art collection of the 20th and 21st centuries. Browse at your leisure and see how they've transformed the old Whitney Museum! Closes at 5:30 p.m. You may instead choose to return to The Met Fifth Avenue, as your tour ticket gives you access to both museums.
